Eat Eat Eat!

May 10, 2010

I’ve been eating quite a bit over the last couple of days (including baked rice pudding last night – oh yes), and I’m unexpectedly not working this week (the downside of freelancing), so my routine is all off, making me far more inclined to graze throughout the day (hello leftover rice pudding). If only I wanted to stuff my face with peas, like the lovely lad above, it wouldn’t matter so much! He’s from the online sketchbook of Ed Boxall, whose work I first came across a couple of years ago in a little shop in Lewes, in the south of England. I eagerly bought a couple of cards as well as two of his Storm Tree Stories, The Gardener and The Birdwatchers. Boxall’s illustrations are beautiful stories in themselves, but the Storm Tree Stories are just magic.
