Week 32, 2011.

August 14, 2011

It’s almost the end of the weekend – I know I say this every weekend, but can I please have another? Yesterday was peachy – full of sunshine and getting the laundry done and mashmallow-making and novel reading – good and proper weekend stuff. I was all set for another day of the same, but then woke up this morning full of stress and anxiety about something that might/might not happen tomorrow, and resenting the hell out of it. I tell myself over and over that anticipation is always worse than the event itself, but the knowledge barely touches me emotionally, and so, the stress sneaks into every part of the day. I tense myself and cannot uncurl. Grrr.

Thank heavens for long walks, and music, and desserts. Yes.
